Wills & Probates
In addition to leaving a will a “living will” is now recognised as a means of managing your affairs if you are unable to give instructions. This may apply particularly if you are suffering from a long term debilitating illness and wish to give instructions about the continuation of life saving treatment. You should also consider Lasting Powers of Attorney, to give power to your chosen representative to make decisions or to conduct affairs on your behalf. If you wish to make an application for someone who is incapable of managing their own affairs before the Court of Protection, or the Public Guardianship office, we can assist with such an application.
We can assist with writing clear concise wills on your behalf.
You may wish to establish a trust to leave your shares, money or property to the person or persons of your choice. If done whilst you are alive it is a trust settlement, or a Will Trust on your death.
