Peter was educated at Bradfield College and studied law at Leicester University and Guildford Law School.
He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1984 and became a Partner in the firm in 1987. Peter started working for the firm as far back as 1976 as an Outdoor Clerk when the world and the legal profession were very different.
Peter has specialised in commercial property, landlord and tenant and private limited company acquisitions and sales for the past 25 years and has dealt with a wide ranging number of complex transactions in his time where he has been on the other side of Teesland, 2nd Thames Land, Lafarge Plasterboard Limited, Cadogen Estates, BP Properties, Graco, Hewlett Packard, Lloyds Capital, Thompson Heath Bond, W.R. Grace, Thurrock Development Corporation, The London Development Agency, Shanks Waste Limited, Arriva and AXA to name but a few.
Peter has also dealt with shipping and aircraft charter agreements, pension litigation, computer and internet contracts, company shareholders and joint venture agreements and landlord and tenant litigation.
The style and approach of the firm has always been to be friendly, straight and constructive in all its dealings coupled with a desire and tenacity to get the job done. It is no coincidence therefore, that many of the firm's long standing commercial clients have been with the firm and Peter since the early 1980s.
Both Peter and his wife are half Italian and have two grown up daughters. Peter plays golf, bridge and his other interests include military history and contemporary music.
