Emergencies
In certain cases you may feel that a claim justifies an immediate decision by a court. A court can issue an injunction to stop a particular activity or demand that a certain activity is carried out. Most claims for an emergency involve an application before a judge in the High Court although certain claims can be conducted in the County Courts.
Employers may wish to enforce a restrictive covenant in a contract of employment or wish to preserve assets belonging to an opponent pending the outcome of a claim.
Assets may be frozen in any account if you fear that they may be discipated before the court can make a decision
